ALL OF OUR COPPER GUTTERS ARE MADE FROM OUR HEAVY 16oz. COPPER COILS. With this high end gutter system you have choices you can make. If your application requires roof straps, you can either have wrap around straps (a more vintage look) or hide part of the strap inside the gutter (modern style). With the down spouts you either have a 2" round (vintage style) or 2x3 (modern style). To hang the down spout we can either use wrap around straps (vintage style shown on the 2 yr. picture below) or cleats behind the spout (modern style).

Just remember, our copper is pure. It will turn color (called patina) within a year. We can not control the shade they will turn. The common shade is a dark bronze. This bronze can patina into a greenish tint over time. This patina can be accelerated with a compound you wipe on. This will patina the gutter in a mater of weeks. Or you may go the other way and find a compound to preserve the bright copper look.

We do not solder our copper because of the heat rainbow that will be there always. We use the same sealing methods as with the aluminum gutters. If you prefer solder, you will need to let us know at the time of your estimate.
